RIP Anne Francis

I just read that she passed away.
One of the best looking women in the entertainment business.
80 years old, pancreatic cancer.

Too bad. She was great in everything. Even a living manniquin in the Twilight Zone. In Bad Day At Bad Rock she was the only girl in town and Robert Ryan killed her. She was the cutest with that little mole. I barely remember Honey West when it was on as reruns when I got ready for school in the mid 60's. The guy who played her brother in Bad Day was also her partner in Honey West. RIP, Honey.

I just watched Forbidden Planet again a few months ago. A great film. She looked great, too.

Sad loss. On anyone else the little mark by her lip would be called a MOLE. On her though ....."beauty mark" seems to fit better.

I have "Forbidden Planet" on DVD, and often watch it. i still consider it to be one of the best SciFi movies ever made. And, as someone pointed out earlier, she outlived Leslie Nielsen, her squeeze in the movie, by just a few weeks.

She was eighty. I think Nielsen was eighty when he died. I'll be eighty in four months. Hmmm.

Sorry to read of her passing. The Sci-Fi network recently airs a Twilight Zone marathon over New Years. Enjoyed a number of the segments. "The Manniquin" was one of the segments featured.
