Great athlete.
Olympic Gold Medal decathletes don’t seem to get the recognition they used to get.
They were once proclaimed “the greatest athlete in the world.”
I remember Johnson and Rosie Grier taking down the RFK assassin.

Jesse Owens is a local hero to our area. The museum is small but interesting. It was said that Jesse had precious little time to play with distant neighbor children. He had to run as fast as possible through the cotton fields for a visit, then wide open back through the fields to get home for supper. A few whoopings' from his mother encouraged him to be on time.
