IN star trek hell be known for Odo. Hes the second of the 3 loved aliens of deep space 9 to die this year. Nog died a few months back.

Honestly, hell be best known for his movies. Especially The Patriot.

I had no idea that Aron Eisenberg had also passed. Reading more about him and his health issues really brought home how good he was in the role.

My wife and I have been watching Babylon 5 on Comet TV lately, and the attrition of the actors from that show is frightening. All good things, I guess.:(

I remember watching him on Benson, but my favorite was Odo from DS9. Odo's my favorite from all the Star Trek series I've seen.

RIP.

I mainly remember him from an old movie that I saw when about 7 or so Escape of the Birdmen loosely based on the Colditz glider and also starred Doug McClure, Chuck Connors, Max Baer Jr and Tom Skerritt. I think I always remembered it because it is a memory from my young childhood and saw it when spending a weekend at an old farmhouse my grandparents had.

Rene Auberjonois looked so ordinary but unusually striking at the same time, he could play any role and make it believable for the audience.

I liked him in The Patriot. He and Leon Rippy (from Rock Hill, South Carolina!) added some real touches of authenticity to the film that could make the viewer gloss over a lot of Mel Gibson's exaggerated heroics.
