The review: Very high prices on black rifles, twice what they were a little over a year ago. Handguns up too. Ammo getting more competitive in pricing, but still very high. I sold an old Stevens single shot .410, bought a couple of holsters for great deals. Helped a female coworker buy a mint condition Remington 1100 in 12 gauge she wanted for skeet shooting for $400.00 OTD. It was the deal of the show!
I didn't get there until this morning. I wasn't too impressed. The crowd was pretty light, but relatively speaking there were a lot of people walking around trying to sell guns. Very few Smiths though. Except for $1000 early Model 27 with buggered up side plate screws and a side plate that had obviously been pried off at some point.
Even the guy with the books brought almost nothing this time. I can usually count on giving him at least some of my money.
