I just got back from a concert at the American Music Theatre on Lincoln Highway (US Route 30) in Lancaster, PA. It was the second time that I got to see a live concert by Hermit's Hermits. The featured performer was Peter Noone, the lead singer of the group back in their recording days of the 1960s. He brought back the songs the group recorded back in the 1960s, plus he covered some of the other British invasion songs from that era and some of the American songs he probably grew up hearing. The audience participation was tremendous. And in addition to rocking it with the music, Peter Noone sprinkled the event with a lot of comedy.
I saw Herman's Hermits last year and this show was not a re-run of last year's. It was a fresh and vibrant show. So if the show is coming to your area and you grew up listening to old time rock and roll or developed a liking for it, go see this show.
