Hi folks,

I just got a S&W M&P9 M2.0 compact, Cali compliant. During my inspection, I noticed that the roll pin that is below the Rotating Take Down Pin sticks out a bit. On the other side of the frame, the opposite side of the pin is not flush with the frame (inward a bit). It almost looks like this is intentional as the Take Down Lever has a small circular cut out along it's bottom that fits perfectly into the elevated pin when rotated down for disassembly.

Is this normal for the roll pin to stick out a bit?

Also, does anyone know a vendor that has the 10 round magazines for the compact in stock? Tried Brownells, S&W, Mag warehouse etc. No one has them.
Thanks

Completely normal. All my M&P pistols (with the exception of my ,380 BG) are like that.

If the role pin wanders out too much, it will restrict the takedown lever from rotating completely. It's been a very common topic/problem. If this happens, push it back in enough to allow full swing of the lever.
