Rough 1955? model 25 value

I look for input on this. I found a rough what is claimed to be a 1955 model 25. I see this gun and just am sure I would have it reblued, Dick Williams in Saginaw MI would do a fine job. The stocks are also rough. The cylinder feels a bit loose so I assume that there will be a bit of attention to that.
My question is you fellas who would take a project what do you think you would offer for it?
What do you think a reblued model 25 would be worth in the end?

The usual question here is whether you might spend as much to get a reblued gun as you would have looking for a nicer used one with original finish. If it is mechanically sound and you don't mind having a refinished gun you may be able to make a decent deal out of it.

Photos would be helpful for a specific determination as to how much to offer for this one, but the rule would be "as little as possible" since it needs work.

Nice refinish is at least $200. Repairs another $100. Replacement N frame target stocks another $100.

That's $400 not including what you paid for the gun in the first place. A refinished 25 would sell for about... $400 or so.

If the gun is free you break even. If the gun isn't free... you need to think about it.

If you are buying it for a shooter. Load it,shoot it, clean it, wipe it with an oily rag, and repeat. Don't try to make it new again. I'm a 1955 model. I can't pass for new but I can still get the job done.
