I went to a gun club swap meet over the weekend I picked up a Roys leather goods holster like new for $5. It has a #36 stamped on it. Does anyone know what this fits

I've been reading all about your fellow statesman Roy Baker the pancake maker. I had no idea he was so famous. now all i need is a model 36 Thanks for your help

Buying a holster for a gun that you don't have, or weren't even lookin' for? That's just silly! :o

I know about such things because I also bought a holster for a Model 36 and had to fill it later on. ;)

I filled it with this.....

I have a Roys pancake for 4' K frame. Great holster! I don't think they make them any more but I sure wish they did. Would you like to make a profit on yours?

Thanks but no I have a 638 all picked out . I figured all the money I saved on the holster it's only right that I fill it

Roy's holster new maker

Those liking Roy's holsters may be interested in Simply Rugged Holsters. I can't recall the owner's name but he has patterned a lot of his holsters on Roy's Pancake Holsters.

I have a couple of Roy's and wanted something for some bigger toys and now have 3 of the Simply Rugged Pancakes for my 29 6inch; 629 4 inch and Combat Python 3 inch. Also have another model for a 1911. Quality is topnotch and prices are competitive.

If you google Simply Rugged you should get their website.

I had the winning bid on a Roys pancake holster last nite, it fit a 6-6.5 Ruger single action but I dont care, I think my 6.5 25-2 will fit it just fine, got it for 22.25 plus 5.00 shipping. Jeff

Roy passed away a while ago. I own a lot of his rigs through my grandfather, as well as a Colt Hammerless of his. Roy's stuff is quite nice and still reasonably priced on the used market!
