I picked up a new Ruger 10/22 Takedown LITE model today and gotta say I'm very pleased with it. After running a few break in rounds through it I placed a lightweight 4X scope on it and mounted my Surefire Ryder suppressor and zeroed it in. This baby shoots as well as my 30 year old customized 10/22 'Possum Slayer but it does so at about half the weight.

I've already gone on line and ordered a few mod's that I did when I rebuilt my 30 year old 10/22 like a nylon Red Bolt Buffer to dampen the bolt's action and a Skelatonized Lightweight Charging Handle. I also picked up a Ruger BX-15 magazine because they are shorter/handier than the 25 round BX-25.

nice stuff, I am on much more of a budget, looks to me even excluding the suppressor that you are way over a grand, which to me seems like a bunch of bucks. Just my view.

dear Mr Faulkner, it is folks like you that keep my wife ticked off at me. I have been looking for something that would fit behind the seat of my new crew cab Colorado and I think this just might fit the bill. may have to start buying lottery tickets again. what brand of scope are you using? very nice looking rifle. lee

I pulled an inexpensive NcStar 4x32 scope off of my M&P 15-22 to try out on the 10/22 LITE. The scope does the job at .22 LR range and it's rubber coated to help keep from getting banged up.

I appreciate Mr. Oldfart64's comment above, but even including the cost of the suppressor and scope included (which I already owned) I have a little less than a grand in this setup.

Notice the stock module is the one that gives a little more length of pull. looks good with the short barrel. Got a R/A Compact which is great but have been thinking of the extra length for more comfort. Thanks for showing

It comes standard with two stock modules. The other one has a higher hump on the comb.
