Saw a Ruger Bearcat and was wondering the age. The serial number is 886xx. Mine begins with 90-xxxx. Is it from 1990?

Check Ruger's website. They have serial number dates for all models. The 90 prefix is unlikely to be a mfg. date.
Looks like about 1967. 67 started with 80330 and 68 started with 93810
put the number in then Use the drop down menu for pre year 2000 numbers

Sceva, thank you for the site. 1967 was the one and the other was 1970. The latter went back to factory in 2023, don't know what work was done then.
