I'm like you. Its about time. I still wonder (even though it is a Ruger product) if it will be reliable. I think I will wait awhile to order some. I also wonder if the price is better somewhere else.

Bill Ruger(the first) once told Congress he saw no need for hi-cap mags and implied they were "bad". His son suceeded him and there was little innovation. Now the company is run by a professional manager from outside the company. They are running hard to innovate and bring new products to market.

I have two of these. When they came out during the new administration scare they were a lot more money.

These are the best until we see how the Ruger is.

I asked my dealer to get a few of the Rugers. Midway has them.

well i never could get the 10 round mags to work, thats why i sold my 10/22

I've got four factory 10 rounders and they work flawlessly. This 25 rounder sounds great. My Ram-Line 50's never worked all that great.

I used a couple of the new Ruger BX-25 magazines yesterday, and they functioned great with a couple different guns. Flawless functioning.
