Ruger LC9

I have been thinking about one of these for pocket carry.
I have read a bunch of reviews on the "net", some good some not so good. Maybe it needs anotheryear of production to work out a few bugs. I was wondering if anyone in here has had experience with them.
Review are always interesting and useful but it is hard to know if the writer has a hidden agenda.

I don't own one, but have a buddy who does. As far as I know he hasn't had any issues with it.

I find them too large for pocket carry. They simply don't fit in my pockets well. I have to really wiggle it to get it in, and forget about getting out quickly. For me, pocket carry would be out of the question.

I had a LC9 for a while and found it to be an excelent pocket carry weapon due to it's thin size.I only recently traded it because I found another S&W that I wanted more ....

I have a fairly recent one that I've put about 600 rounds through. I think that it's a great little pistol for the money. The only thing about it that I don't like is the magazine safety, but it only took about 10 minutes to remove it.

I purchased a Ruger LC9 and picked her up on December 20, 2011 and have had no issues with it.
It was not designed to be a target pistol.

Like any other firearm you just take her out and train and adapt to the firearm you are shooting.

There are alot of whiners out there that complain about specs on guns that don't even own one, or have shot one, or are just loyal to a specific brand.

Once you filter those out, the LC9 is a nice compact 9mm.

I like these guns but they are too skinny for me. I still like and carry the KT P11. I know "ugh" but it works for me, is pretty small and is 10+1, and takes Smith mags.

If Ruger would have come out with the LC9 before the SR9c, I most likely would have gone for the LC9. If S&W would come out with a single stack compact Sigma, I would buy one in a heartbeat. Why? Because I love the solid feel of my SW40VE and the way the trigger works.

They did, chambered in 9 and .380. They were miserable.
