I admit to owning 3 Rugers, like them all.

In 2012 (7 years ago), I ordered some inserts from Chig's Grips for my SP101 8 shot .22 and finally decided to photograph them, pictures aren't that great.

Figured some of you R owners may like to show off your little additions.:)

Let's see those beauties your hiding.

Stag Inserts

I’ll play. Here is my GP-100 three inch short shroud and a SP-101 DAO wearing Sack Peterson Stag Inserts.

We have one here.

It goes well with the collection of Rugers we have.

When Wendy turned 18 her dad asked what gun she wanted. Her choice a GP100 in stainless. She liked the finish and the heft for shooting .357 loads while her dad was more of a .38 Special K frame fan.

I picked up a SR40 years ago.

And last year we decided to get another AR, for her, so another Ruger.

Next up we would love to find a Security Six in 4" whether blued or stainless.

I'll play, too.

The two Single Sixes are an unmodified .22LR and a modern trigger .22 Magnum. Both have standard grips as far as I know. I have had them for many years. The little Bearcat, however, sports gorgeous stag grips. I have had this gun for many years, too, but not as many as the first two.

Then there is this snub nosed Security Six. Also mine for many years. I didn't like the grips so I put these Hogue target grips on it. A little incongruous, admittedly, but it sure shoots well. Back some time ago, I carried this gun on my belt when I went deer hunting.

And then there are these two incredible revolvers. Now that I think about it I bet I have owned these for 20 years! I went through several sets of grips when I was cowboy action shooting. Except for maybe two or three matches I used these .45 Colt Vaqueros exclusively. Over time I had them engraved with my SASS(R)
alias and membership number, my real initials, and some scrollwork. If I ever play with these again maybe I'll add more engraving. None of it shows in the pictures as far as I can tell.

I have the good fortune to have a coupla SP101's - I just picked this old-style .22 up in August. I had one of the 8-shots for a while but consigned it a couple of years back because of it's awful finish (bought on-line). This one is great - wish I had the 2-inch version!!

Aint nuthin wrong with Rugers! I have .41 and .44 Blackhawks, two 10/22s, and the Single Six my wife stole from me in the safe. I've had several Mini 14s, a .45 Colt Redhawk, a couple Mark 1s, and a nice Security Six I should never have let go. All have been fine dependable guns!
