Russian Makarov

I realize ammo is a tuff find these days, but back in the good ole days, what ammo did you folks prefer to shoot in your Makarov's? Is Tula ammo corrosive? Thanks for any information.

I've never found Tula or Wolf or Norinco or Brown Bear or Red Bear or PPU 9x18 Makarov ammo to be corrosive. I prefer Sellier & Bellot, which I find gives me more velocity than these others.

Just got the Cosmoline off my 1984 Bulgarian Makarov and shined it up with some Renaissance Wax. It came with 3 magazines and an extra black Thumbrest grip.
