Russian Tank in LA? Caje?

I'm curious if the Pittsburgh streets can handle the weight of a tank? This bus sunk into a hole about two years ago with only two passengers. The women were in the back seat. Just asking for a friend: before my friend hits the Buy Now button, I'd like to know if my friend can order one from the Bay, will it be maneuverable Downtown or on the Parkway East? He's only 190 lbs.; the women in the back of the bus were not Jenny Craig models.

A T90 tank? Some collector must have been very busy in getting this new "item" for his collection.

So a 46 ton T90 gets abandoned at a truck stop in Louisiana, getting there in a mysterious manner. I guess it is the USSR equivalent of US hardware left behind in Afghanistan. No big deal. Joe

The tractor might be in the shop or there might be issues with the overweight travel permits & escorts. I watched an Abrams get transported up Rt 28 near Etna, PA (just outside Pittsburgh) in the late 1970's. State police stopped traffic going in both directions on and under bridges while it passed over the bridges. That was over & above the fore and aft escorts preventing people from getting too close.

If the T90 was headed for Aberdeen Proving Grounds, I'd have expected it to unload in Baltimore. Possibly a weight/permit problem or it's on it's way to Fort Hood.
