I found this Myres marked watch fob recently and pulled out some other pieces of Myres advertising I've found over the years. I'm assuming it's a watch fob, it came with the scrap of paper next to it dating it to 1929 which makes sense if it is a watch fob. The gun is made from leather as well.
Next is a folding brochure " Levi's Round-Up of Hunting Rifle Lore" compiled by Col. Townsend Whelen. " First Choice...sure as shootin'." The address is pre zip code and it refers to the .300 Magnum cartridge ( 1963 ). S.D. Myres is identified as the last of the old Buffalo hunters, he died in 1953 at 81 years of age. Levi's has gone in a different advertising direction more recently.
Speaking of Tio Sam, here is one of his business cards and a Texas cowboy riding a Myres saddle on a Texas jack rabbit, not a jackalope.
A 1948 dated thanks for your order postcard.
A cloth patch with the logo used on saddles and very late holsters.
A business card wallet.
A 12 page brochure with hats, Levi's clothing, boots and belts.
A Guarantee certificate that the recipient dated 1955, it would have been nice if he listed the serial number and particulars of that Triple Lock.
