10AR brass

Now if someone would make a 10mm AR...;-).

There are LOTS of AR style rifles...

I think (?) he's referring to a 10mm Auto Rim case (10AR)??

If so, all we can do is keep sending requests to Starline to make them. Maybe we can wear them down; I've asked several times already.

If you're a gluton for punishment you can make them out of 41 Magnum cases with some trimming & sizing.

I made a handful (for the halibut), loaded them up & they worked fine in the 610 while it was still chambered as a 10mm Auto.

They (still have to) headspace on the case mouth (because the rim isn't the extra thickness needed), like when you shoot 10mm Autos without moonclips, but the rim allows you to extract them with the ejector.

I'll be waiting for Starline to step-up to the plate.

I shoot a CZ .40 for IDPA so I just load .40 by the bucket and use it in both the CZ and my 610. It lives in the safe next to a 1006 so I now have two options for making 10mm fireballs in the indoor range.

I also have a 686, 627, 617 and am looking for a 625 so I am not the one to provide rational input on revolver selection.

Liking both the 10 mm and revolvers, the S&W Model 610 gives me the best of both worlds.
