S&w 1000

Have just picked up an as new S&W 1000 20ga. 22" barrel
Made in Japan. Barrel is marked multi choke! Barrel is not threaded for chokes. Is this a common? Will S&W thread the barrel ?

I believe that barrel was shortened. A S&W 1000 20ga. Multi-choke barrel would be 26 inches. The barrel also had a slight bell to it where it was threaded for the choke tubes.

Thanks guys! Received that info today. By discription it would have been 24" maybeLOL

Have called Texas. LSG Manufacturing. 1-325-885-2700 He has parts for Old Smith long guns. I saw a lot of questions regarding them.
Hope this helps others.

So it boils down to we can thread it or swap it out. LOL
