S&W 1076 10mm FBI

I have a 1076 marked "MORRISTOWN POLICE DEPT". A very nice shooting gun.

I was doing a little research on the 10mm and stumbled upon your posting - i found this article that states the FBI models had the phrase "Caution-Capable of Firing With Magazine Removed." stamped on them. Chuck Hawk gets credit for all this info - right or wrong - just passing on the link

FWIW a FBI 1076 just sold on gunbroker.A lettered pistol without the warning and straight grip,not the palm swell. Auction # 247673850

What are these guns worth these days. I have one of the originals that I got directly from the FBI back in the day when they sold them to employees.
