S&W 1076 3rd Gen (Decocker Only)-Question-Does rear sight only have 1 or 2 springs?

S&W 1076 3rd Gen (Decocker Only)-Question-Does rear sight only have 1 or 2 springs? Im changing the sights out and only one spring I can see, am I missing the spring on the left side? Numrich gun parts diagram says two springs? I don't think a second spring flew out or even if there was in the first place...am I missing the spring on the left hole side?

That would be for a magazine disconnect. Some models come from the factory without this option, they are easily removed as well. I prefer mine not to have that feature.

Thank you so much! I was going crazy trying to figure out what it was and was looking for a spring that wasn't actually there haha

I am assuming you are meaning the springs under the rear site. One is for the magazine disconnector and the other is for the firing pin block. If your model doesn't have a magazine disconnector, it wouldn't have the second spring and mine is not even drilled for it.
