I recently found a gently used 1086 with the original box and 3 mags at my local pawn shop for $475. I love my 1006 so much I had to put little brother on layaway. I'm not a huge fan of DAO but the trigger pull is short and didn't feel all that bad. I checked when I got home and it looks like the 1086 is the second lowest production of the 10xx series pistols with only a little over 1600 produced. I can't wait to bring it home and run some ammo through it. Now it's got me thinking I might have to try and complete the collection. But the 1046 might be out of my reach with only 171 produced. Oh well I'm happy with the ones I have and I will have to add some more Smith 10mm's to my collection. I'm drooling over the 610 revolver and I want the 310 night guard so bad. I love my 10mm's. Thanks Smith & Wesson for making some of the finest examples. Wish you still made some of them and how about a 5" 10mm M&P please.
