S&W 10mm sights too tall

Don't feel bad. I'm not yet sold on the whole red dots for pistols thing yet, and I can't bring myself to buy a handgun with suppressor height sights as I think they look absurd. I have been hoping that Smith would release a version of the 10mm M&P with normal sights for those of us stuck in the stone ages of pistol shooting.

Me neither, i know it's the up and coming thing and i have one on a Canik Rival and will agree it's easier to shoot especially with older eyes like mine, but i still rather have irons for carrying the gun. i am planning on carrying it hunting, not to hunt with but we have some huge hogs and plenty of bears and don't want to mess with batteries. matter of fact i had a 600 pound boar charge me a couple years ago and i had an AR15 in 224 Valkyrie. scope was set on 10 power and it don't work at 25 yards. glad i had 15 rounds in the mag.

if you have the "shake awake" red dot optic on a "things that go bump in the night" pistol, you just put the dot on the target and pull the trigger.

That's what I got for my Glock 23. No safety, light is instant on when the pistol moves, then just a trigger squeeze.

Put my new sights on and they are really nice. it should hit the target right now. i shouldn't have to aim at the tree tops anyway. lol

you absolutely have to give us a follow-up report. I too have the 4.6" 10mm with safety.

I sure will, might be a few days before i get to shoot it. supposed to rain about every day for while.

I just run 60 rounds through it and i'm not a happy camper. still hitting low, not quite as bad but is still unacceptable. it's shooting all over the place even from a rest. had four jams and one mag drop. was shooting at 7 yards. it was completely missing the target every now and then.

The rough stippling on the grip had the web of my hand red after about 30 rounds. I may not have this thing long. I didn't even take a pic of the target it was so bad.
