S&W 1500 in 240 magnum.

I've had this rifle for a while, 1500 (Howa) built as a 240 WBY mag, custom thumbhole stock topped by a Leupold 6.5x20x scope. This is a amazingly accurate rifle, flat shooting and, devastating to whatever crosses it's path.
S&W versions are getting scarce and, are becoming very collectable.

Nice looking rifle, looks like a custom job for both the stock and the barrel. I agree with you the S&W 1500 and 1700 are pretty good values in a rifle.

I bought my Son a S&W Model 1500 270 Win in the mid 90's for $150 and it is very accurate and He has killed many Antelope and Mule Deer with it when we lived in Colorado.
