Nice revolver, you are going to love shooting it!

I bought a Pre-Model 18 (1954 vintage) about three years ago, and have since put thousands of rounds through it. It really sharpened up my double action shooting skills.

Our club shoots a monthly Binachi Cup Match, steel plates, barricades, etc. Attendance has fallen off lately because of the shortage of ammunition and reloading components. The match requires 150 rounds of centerfire ammunition, ammunition that some guys just can't replace.

So, the club has decided to shoot the monthly Bianchi Cup Match with .22 rimfire handguns! Tomorrow, my old war horse Pre-Model 18 .22 Combat Masterpiece will go head to head with whatever other .22 pistols show up, probably a bunch of Rugers....

Don, be careful or your gonna' be ordering more of those expensive grips!

Hawkeye10, if you buy new grips I'll buy the factory set from you.

I think you should just buy a Tyler-T for that Model 18, but hey, that's just me.

e mail me: depicts (at) comcast.net if you want to sell or trade for them.

Great deal...I have given a few 3rd ed books away, but dont have one myself.

One of my Smith regrets was trading off a pre-18 a few years ago when I had the 52 Winchester bug

SCofSW,
I have been a S&W owner for years but didn't realize that there are so many models and changes in models.
So, yesterday I ordered the
Sandard Catalog of Smith and Wesson from Amazon also. Now maybe I can figured out what some of you experts are taking about. Very good forum. Should be outside working in the lawn but this is more interesting.

It's to cold to work outside.I turn my AC down low so I think it's to cold.
