I recently bought a new one-- but with the standard, not BULL barrel. It has had a few hundred rounds through it. It has performed flawlessly, and it it very accurate. I'd guess the bull barrel would be a bit better even . . .

It is not built like a Ruger-- but does not cost like one either. I paid $199.99 for mine (+ $3.00 shipping); for the $ it is fine pistol. I really like this one.

where did you find one for $199.00?

I have the 5.5 bull bbl and I love it. I have to say it can shoot better than I can. I can put 10 rounds in a fifty cent piece at 10 yards. I put a cheap-o red dot sight on it and it made it so much more fun. For the money, you can't go wrong with it. I love the wood grips on mine, it makes it harder to load the magazines but feel so much better in my hands than the other ones.

I've had a 22S bull brl version for some time, and it is a solid performing pistol.
Now, another club member bought a new 22A bull, and it's been a jamomatic, SV, HV ammo. He's sending it to Springfield.
Maybe he just got a bad apple.

I would just save up a little more and go with a ruger mk series. I read that these pistols break alot and they go through buffers like there is no tomorrow. Just my 2cents.

I have the standard. I love it.

It hates the Remingtons that Wal Mart sells. Shoots everything else just fine.

Bought one new a few years ago. Was a good little gun until the frame broke just over the trigger guard. Sent it back to Maine. As I recall, frame was replaced and returned in about 6 weeks. It was my understanding that this was not all that uncommon with the 22A.s
