A lot of fun for the money. Plus unlike a Neo or Ruger it is easy to field strip (no tools needed)

Welcome from Texas MJCOFGA. Great forum for all things S&W, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Great little pistol. I have a 422 and love it.

I like mine a lot. I have a 7" stainless fluted barrel with the big wood target stocks. After firing many thousands of rounds, it needs a tune up. I get a lot of light strikes and failures to fire. I thought I had fixed it with a good cleaning and a little stoning on the hammer and firing pin. But now the problem has returned. I would blame the ammo except the ammo works fine in my model 41, 22/45, and MK II GVMT. I still really like the gun and would recommend it.

thought I would add a pic

I really like mine, it was my first handgun and it was a gift from my father. It shoots great and like everyone has said, is easy to disassemble to clean and already has an optic rail built in if you want to add a red dot or some other electronic sight.

I bought one used real cheap and the previous owner had recently
installed a new firing pin. Evidently they can wear somehow so if you
shot yours alot, probably that is what it needs. maybe it was the
spring ? ? I always meant to put scope on it and get a 7 " barrel
but I never found out where to get reasonably cost barrel.
