S&W 242 prices

Price check on a s&w 242. Used with small handling marks. No box just the gun. Looks like it been carried but not abused. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Niche platform, not at all common. I'd say $700-1000 depending on your locale and desire.

The last one on Gunbroker went for $1200 on 19 May 2024.

However, the caveat of 'sample size of one' applies. That single one was the only 242 in the completed item search, and one bidder was very determined to get it and made a total of 10 bids before it ended.
