My research says it was made my the Swedish for s&w 1994-1997. Rarity? Value?

I believe they were discontinued by S&W in the early 1970's, and replaced with the HOWA action rifles.

Made by Husqvarna, and imported by S&W, they were high quality rifles. I have a non-S&W, Husqvarna marked 30-06 bolt action, and it is well made and accurate. Pretty, too..

I have one , I believe a model C, could be wrong, anyway a 30-06, mannlicher, Husqvarna, first one I had seen in my area. Paid 500 for it a year or so ago, is used but close to 90% in my humble opinion, dont think a scope has been on it. Hope that helps.

I don't have the references handy but there were two different Husqvarna Smiths. One close to Mauser, one "modernized."

Writer John H Wootters, Jr. had a modernized Husqvarna chambered for a .411 wildcat ctg. He used it some in Africa. Liked it.

I had a Husqvarna .270 with a classic stock. I think they called it a Crown Grade. But don't know if the King of Sweden used that model. Probably used the brand.

The action, a small ring Mauser, was a little rough. It gradually wore in.

I have a Howa rifle and like it. The Japanese designer left me feeling that he'd had a good look at Sako rifles, from Finland. But it's a good, solid rifle. Mine's a 7mm-08.

I think Howa makes current Weatherby rifles, too.

No doubt in my mind. The Dickson Golden Bear was a close copy of the long action Sako, followed by the medium length action for S&W, Mossberg, Weatherby, and I don't know who all else. They are stlll very close to the pre-1972 Sako design, even though the Finns "modernized."
