Just scored off Ebay a NOS Choate skeliton stock for my S&W 3000 (12ga police model blue/18" barrel) for $39 shipped. I already have the matching forend from my S&W folder that was made by Choate for S&W so I'm all set there. Maybe some day a Speedfeed will show up but I'm not holding my breath and this stock looks fine. Best I can tell the Choate stock was aftermarket and not a S&W optional accessory. I refinished the original factory wood stock and forend and it looks a lot better thgan it did, I should of taken some before photos. I'll post some photos after it gets delivered. Also if any S&W member is looking for a 3 round mag extension and/or Choate folding stock I'd check out Ebay.
