S&W 329 PD AirLite 44 Mag Revolver

MY REAL FEAR IS....

My wife carries a 240gr bullet over 9.2gr of Unique, as her standard load at the deer lease. She also used quite a few Speer shotshells [as do I] for small game for the pot. Now these loads are very controlable in the 329...
I have shot them in my buddies...

So IF I buy ONE for ME, and she ever handles it, and shoots it... Well then I will loose it... That is what happened to the first Mountain Gun I bought.

Once she discovered it was a little lighter than her regular 629, she stole it...

Well the GOOD thing is, if she steals MINE, and makes it HERS, then she had no problem with me getting another for ME...

AND when I go on a trip without her, I could take BOTH of them...

I bought my 329, shortly after they were released, from the first owner who shot it exactly five times....I got it for a song....

Lots of good facts cited on this thread....I rarely shoot full power loads....while my FA .475 hammers me harder, the 329 is less enjoyable to shoot with heavy loads than any of my short-barreled, FA Casulls....

A PAST shooting glove is one's best friend with a heavy recoiling handgun and I ain't too proud to wear it....
