While cleaning I took the cylinder release off to clean the stuff I could see was underneath. Well, I moved the bolt back to far and could not jiggle it into realignment. I had never taken the side plate off before, but with help from the forum I got it off, fixed, and plate replaced. Much thanks for that.
Six inch barrel with six groove backstrap and forestrap, checkered topstrap, and counterbored.

I try to be gracious and helpful, but if anyone ever asked me to borrow a firearm my answer would be no. I'm sorry yours came back grimy, but I'm glad it came back at all.

That is a nice gun as others said there are some things I don't loan and guns are one of them. The one exception is my brother but he has as many as I do well almost. I do let others shoot my guns in my presence but I am careful about that.
