S&W 360J

Someone help me figure out what I bought. I’ve had a couple 360’s in the past, one was the standard 360 with the ugly FDE grips, the second was the 360 Survival Kit. Both of these were Stainless unfluted PVD black cylinder.

The pistol I picked up today is marked 360J inside the crane area. It is marked 357 mag on the side of the barrel shroud, and has a fluted polished stainless cylinder with Hogue Bantam grips. I’ve personally never seen one that had the polished fluted cylinder, I’m guessing it was probably a distributor exclusive? I got it used with no box or anything so don’t know what sku it was.

Either way, I’m a glutton for punishment I guess, I love these scandium framed 357’s.

I have one of those. I bought it new, a M360J, 357 Magnum, 2-Tone version, SKU# 11713, in early 2017.

Davidson Distributing had S&W make a run of those. Mine was made in Sep-2016.

Mine, & I guess the early ones (?) had DD as the first SN# letters, presumably for Davidson Distribution. My SN# is DDB54xx.

Weight is right at 15oz with the factory grips on.
