Hi Folks - I am Greg from Georgia and glad to be a member.
I just bought a used S&W 38 special model 10 - 11 (serial CEV8127). It belonged to a security service so it was holster carried and rarely fired and it looks like new.
I got it for $265.00 - and I think I got a good deal (which is the definition of a good deal).
The place I bought it has an indoor range and the .38 fires like a dream (compared to my Taurus 738TCP .380 which I love but is not good for a day at the range. By the way, I have found that a pair of weighlighting gloves, which have no fingers, are great protection for firing a couple of boxes of ammo through the pea-shooter (that is when I can find .380 ammo).
But back to the S&W .38. Does anybody have any information they can pass along on the model 10 - 11. I have found information on other model 10's on the internet but not specifically model 10-11. My questions are:
1. Does the model 10 manual apply to all model 10's?
2. What grips will fit this pistol?
3. Any other information about this that anybody can pass along to me?
Thanks Folks - great forum with great information!
Greg
