The hammer and trigger aren't correct either. Both should be case colored. If thats a gun thats for sale and you found it because you're looking for a nice 38 Special plinker, thats not the gun you want.

Thanks geoff40.
I am not intentioned to buy that gun.
I am just curious to know what has been replaced.

No exact color.Basically,it's a "mottled" look,a mix of colors....if that word translates well enough for you.

Oh I see. I perfectly understood now.
Its the mixed colour for triggers and hammers that in Italy we call "tartarugato", in English tortoiseshell.

Thank you Camster.

A pre-war M&P converted to target configuration with a post-war barrel from a K38 Masterpiece and added adjustable rear sight. Such conversions can be well done but the barrel is a mess on this one as it doesn't match the frame contour.

Looks like a pre-war M&P re-barreled with a model 14 or K-38 masterpiece barrel installed on it.

I dont think it has any collectors value, but it should function fine as a shooter as long as it was done right.

Ejector rod is clearly post-war. Someone did the Monster Mash.

What is the Italian equivalent of Bubba, anyway?
