Got it for $287... good price on it? Was really trying to win it lol no one bid after me so here we are!

Thanks. I actually haven’t owned a 40cal in years but I picked up a 4006TSW so i was kinda looking for one to go along with it.

That's a great deal! I looked for one locally for a long time, and finally found one with 3 factory mags and 2 sets of grips, but I paid $450. So you did real well! Congratulations!

I’m sure I will only take it to the range every now and then lol I only have 2 40cal guns now... mostly shoot 9mm for pistols... some 45.

It will probably change from being an occasional range gun to one that is carried a lot.

That usually takes place on about the third magazine, sometimes as early as the first.....the first magazine is usually a case of what the heck?

The second mag is confirming yeah, it's that good, and the third is in celebration of finding a gun that is THAT good!!!

Good catch! Here's mine. It was pretty dirty when I got it but it cleaned up nicely. I added the Hogue grips myself as I like the feel of them in my hand. Congratulations.

I think you got a GREAT price on it! I just recently put one on layaway yesterday for 439 OTD. I was looking it up and here we are. I love 3rd gen Smiths and when I saw this in the case I knew I had to have her! It's a DAO sibling to the 4006, of which I have two, one being the TSW. I kinda thought the DAO action was going to be a turn-ff but oh man, it's a beautiful smooth and relatively short action!
My 4046 is a Brinks gun too, and in great condition.
Congrats to both of us!
ETA: Does anybody know if all of the Brinks guns were the TSW? I don't remember if mine had the rail or not, but pretty sure that it didn't.
