Hi All,

The Missus and I have a 432 j frame. If we understand right, it should fire 32 s&w , 3 s&w long, and of course, H&R magnum.

With some loads, particularly Magtech s&w long, it will FTF 1 or 2 out of six. With 32 s&w of any stripe, it will do the same. H&R magnums, and S&W longs of other manufacture do not FTF so far?

Should we send it to S&W of is there something we should try first? We bought it new and it cannot have more than 150 or so shots fired through it.

Send it back to S&W. Unlike the K & N Frames, there is no main spring strain screw on a J-Frame to check to see if it's not tightened down because the spring set up is completely different.

I have a 432PD, and can say that there's really nothing that you can check on it. With it being an enclosed hammer DAO revolver, there's a few things that could be causing the light hammer fall and S&W needs to go through the lock work to check things out.

It should be covered under warranty and S&W will also foot the bill for the shipping.
