I love mine. I got a 9lb trigger spring from Wolf springs and swapped out the one that came with it. So far I've put 350 rounds through it with out a problem.

I really like mine. Just like Wprovence, I put a Wolff 9# Main Spring in mine. Perfect function! I put a set of presentation stocks on mine that were provided by fellow forum member Masterbuck54. :) I really like the improved looks!

My dealer has one on sale. Which here means it is priced where it should have been in the first place.

Has anyone benched theirs at 10 to 15 yards? If so did it shoot to point of aim? Or off by a lot?

Thans,

Jerry

I'm glad to see this thread on the 43c and the opinions and pics. Although it is a bit pricey, I have considered getting one. I would like to have a .22 snub and have considered the 43c or the LCR22.

I've never shot mine off a bench and don't suppose I ever will. I really can't see the point in doing so with a gun that's intended for defensive use.

I will say that the Big Dot Sight will tend to make point of impact slightly low. I need to hold the front sight just a little higher than I would with a conventional sight to bring point of impact to the desired level.

Dave, I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not but XS Sights suggest that out to 15 yards you cover your target with the dot. After 15 yards they suggest resting the intended point of impact on the top of the dot.

I wasn't aware of that, but thanks for letting me know. :)

Mine is easily minute of man at 50 yards and shoots dead to the sights. Which is more than I can say for my 340PD which has a canted shroud and does not shoot anywhere near the sights at 50 yards. So you never know what you're going to get with the two piece barrel setup.

I have found my 43c sights are right on. I'll try some long range next time!
I haven't seen any difference between standard velocity & CCI stinger/ Segmented (Quik Shok). I can feel the slight difference in recoil.
The action job did help a great deal.
Great gun. Thinking of exchanging my 317 pre lock 2" for one for my bride.
