S&W 44 Mag Boxes

Just wanting to check if there is any collector interest in these boxes before I toss 'em. Not in great shape, and I'm thinking they're too common to be sought after, but thought I'd ask first. They do have the once fired cases in them. Thanks.

Don't forget to take the guns out of them before you toss them! I say that because I once noticed a shopping center dumpster full of trash from a sporting goods store that was being remodeled and found a Winchester commerative box with the Winchester still in it ! Ed

opoefc, that would be quite the find! You'd have to wonder if someone wasn't trying to make a backdoor transfer. But yes, I'll dump the cases out first; about time to make a run to the scrap yard.

An employee "discount" would have been my first guess as well. A local pawn shop was selling tons of brand new Craftsman tools until the Sears employee got caught tossing the tools in the garage can then collecting them after work.

So, it looks like I learned how to dumpster dive from the master!

Don, I always try to call out " Hey, Don, are you in there" whenever I go dumpster diving. If I don't get an answer, then I know I'm home free with what ever happens to fall into my pocket. Ed

Yeah don’t trash the boxes. I just bought several old empty boxes off another forum for my gun room. Someone will want them.
