Just received this S&W 4576 (1,386 produced) to place back into my collection. Still searching for the S&W 4546 to complete my S&W 45 collection!

Cheers!!!

You don't see those very often, great find.... Fortunately I found a 4546 a couple of years ago.. Have only seen 2 in the last 10 years..

Aegis

I had a LNIB 4546 in my previous collection but sold it when I moved to the beach because I had no storage while building my house. Wish I had it back now!

Cheers!!!

My 4596 was a gift from my wife in 1989 that I stupidly sold. I found it 30 years later and only had to pay twice as much to get it back. Worth every penny.

Purchased a 4546 with the dot stickers still on it.

Not really an impressive gun from a functionality stand point.

Cool as a collectible though.

I understand. I did have one but sold it in my last 3rd gen collection. Now I just need to replace the 4546 again

Cheers!!!

What is the claim to fame for this pistol? Special features?

The 4526 (1,365 produced), 4536 (736 produced) & 4576 (1,386) have the frame lever decockers. The 4546 less than 500 produced. For me, I enjoy collecting the rare/low production S&W 3rd gens!

Cheers!!!
