S&W 460V

Hey gang anyone been having any issues with there S&W 460V? I bought a brand new one back in May of this year. I took it to the range and fired 20rnds of HSM Cowboy loads 45LC Lead and the ejector rod broke and I couldn't close the cylinder. I have owned many S&W revolvers in the past and have never had this problem until now. Scott in CT

Injector rod broke and you could not close the cylinder? do you mean came unscrewed?

You mean the rod broke loose and fell out of the gun?

The rod didn't fall out of the gun the ejector comes completely out of the cylinder when I push the rod forward. There was a spring that also came out. I never had a problem with my 686 or 629. Yes I sent the gun back to S&W.

Sounds like it came unscrewed, though it is possible it broke in the threads.
