And my friends wonder why my .500 is my favorite. :D

I use the 350gr XTP with 22gr. Of long shot powder. Been chrono'd @1245fps, that's a lot of lead movin in a hurry!!

Shooting water filled milk jugs with the .500 is simply a hoot.

Both videos were great fun to watch and anyone who didn't enjoy them has no sense of humor. Don

What? You don't like Thunderstruck by AC-DC? Seems oddly appropriate to me... :D

It worked when they used it in the movie "Battleship" when they brought the "Mighty Mo" back to life!!!!! ;)

Yup. Watched that one on cable for the third time last night. Far and away the best part of the whole film - and it wasn't a bad movie - at east not compared to what passes for cinematography these days!

I love it when those WWII vets show the youngsters how it was done "back in the day"!

Oh! The plastic bottle carnage!
THAT WAS COOL!
I know where there's a 500 for sale right now. 8 3/8" bbl.
It is way to much wheelie for me.

The 460XVR using a 200gr FTX @ 2100 fps would have left NO bottles on the rack... ;)

Don't be so sure. You notice that the faster 9mm with more velocity had the same results as the slower heavier 45acp. In the case of the 200 gr 460 vs 350 gr 500 the results would not be all the much more one way or the other.

l am quite sure a 50 cal 420gr ''PUNCH'' Bullet from Belt Mountain would have cleared the WHOLE table

Best cover your ears................Whoooof.........She purrs like a kitten!

LOL.

I agree the Old Guys REALLY make that portion of the movie.

Fun! Not practical, but FUN! ;)

What's not practical?? Can do any hunting job on earth from mice to elephants, from plinking loads that are just overgrown 38 Special rounds to beastly rounds that simply dwarf a .308 rifle all in something that rides comfortably in a shoulder rig. Don
