No, and no. Sorry for the short reply. I've never heard of caliber conversions either. Its really a 9mm converted to shoot 38 spl wadcutters.

There have been some that were converted to shoot 9mm, although it would be a bit foolish to do so now since they make a 952. I think the conversion was to fit a 39 top end to a 52 frame.
