Hey Guys, tried the search function but no joy. Anyways, what would a 6" model 53 with a 22lr spare cylinder in minty condition ( 95%+) be worth? Thanks

Actually both are for sale. I'm interested in the one on the left. Seller said one on left fired only a few times, one on the right has not been fired. Seller says he paid $2500 for both guns ten years ago? I was thinking about $800 for the spare cylinder model. But what do I know. Thanks

I have one similar. That one looks not to have been shot, or at least very little. Considering it has the extra clyinder I am going to guess $900? I havent seen one besides my own in years or been to a gun show with one, nor have I been watching them on auction. Mine is only a uneducated guess!
If he paid $2,500 for both 10 years ago, I want his adress! I have stuff he might be interested in! Keep him covered up, I dont want him catching a cold!
Hey! Whats the story with the extra hammer and trigger?

I don't think I've seen one in the box with the extra cylinder for less than $1000. Heck, the extra cylinder can sale for $300 to $400. Between the two I'd definately try to get the one on the left. Good luck.

+1 on what he said

Well the seller just corrected me. He wants $2500 for it, and its unfired. I replied.. good luck with your sale. I'm on to greener pastures. Still would like to know the real world value though.

I just sold a 4 screw MD 53 6", with extra cylinder, numbered to the gun. In it's box with inserts and all original paper, unfired for $1250.00.
I just sold another MD 53, 8 3/8 Nickel, done at the plant, no box for $1200.00. I needed cash to pay for repairs to my cellar after a flood.
