I recently picked up a Model 59 ser# A3577XX, for a steal...I was wondering if anyone could give an appoximate year of manufacture on this pistol. It's in good condition, had a minor extractor problem ( corrected by a good cleaning ). It has after market grips, I am looking for some original black plastic ones.. I would post a photo, but I am not into the digital cameras yet..

I would like to know if anbody knows the original MSRP of the Model 59.

I don't know the MSRP. Gun Digest first listed the Model 59 in 1974 at $150. The Model 39 was $125 (blue) that year.
