You may want to check some of your local gun shops for the mags. Lots of police trade-ins around and sometimes you can find the mags there at a very good price. Check the classifieds here for a holster.

The only wood grips I've seen for the 5900 series have been Hogues or Nills. The Hogues use a adaptor and the Nills require you to drill and tap the frame to install. Stick with the S&W mags. Holsters have to be for the square guard in order to fit. If your gun is a square guard it is a pre-'92 and probably wouldn't hurt to get a complete spring kit with the hammer/firing pin springs also.

I had a pair of Hogue smooth wood grips for my 5906, and they fit the pistol really well, but they add significant with to the grip, too much for me so I sold them. I am told that the Hogue checkered wood grips are not as thick, and that is what I would try if I were to do it again, but I have just gone back to the stock grips with curved backstrap and am very happy with them.
