The 25 series is one of the great revolvers of all time. You can't go wrong with any of them. I have several. For carry they're bulky and heavy. For ANY other purpose they're just great.

I love mine but had to send it back twice.

First time because the cylinder throats were undersized on my 625-8.

Replaced cylinder
Reset barrel
Recut forcing cone
Replaced mainspring
Replaced firing pin

Then the crane lock screw broke

They fixed that

I take super good care of my guns, and love shooting the 625, but my Sig P220 carry is the one I bet my life on.

I bought this PC 625-8 a couple of years ago and it is a wonderful shooter. It shoots groups just like the photo from Dale53.

It came with the laminated red, white and blue grips on it, but didn't like the way they fit my hand, so I put on these S&W American Pride ones instead.
