657 3'' How do you tell if it is a Lou Horton? Thanks Sam.

Easier way...the 657s made in 1986 have the 1/2 lug barrel and are not Lew Horton guns... The Lew Horton model had a full underlug and and will serial number to 1998.

There were 5k+ of the non-Lew Horton guns but only 150-200 of the 1998 Model...so 99% of the guns you see for sale are the earlier model...

Thanks Superman

It is not the full lug so its not a Lou Horton. What is a 99% worth? It looks like my Lou Horton .45 long colt 3".
Thanks Sam

depends...$850 in my neck of the woods (Kalifornia) is a decent price if she wears her factory RB Combats. Seen em' go for $1000+ NIB as well. Market factors generally drive these mules. You should sell me your 625 LC 3" :)

..that is about the range...

Just plain "used", no box, wrong grips..$6-700.

Excellent with correct Combats...$900+. With box pushing a grand. I have seen LN or NIB sell for $1300+....

There have been several on GunBroker lately but most of the sellers are asking more than the market will bare... Those that start at a penny have been bring in the $900 range...

Great revolver, Lew Horton or not! Love shooting mine with light reloads and the occasional night shoots stoked with 210 gr. Speeer Gold Dots. Used to use mine as a winter carry weapon till the prices went way up on them. Mines Not a LH and couldn't care less! It's one great shooting revover. Wish our state allowed 3" barrels for deer as mine will easily take one out to 50 yards.

Do Not Sell It! Prices continue to rise on them and the new Classics pale in comparison to the older models IMO.
