Does anyone out there have any information on A model 6591? I know it was a rare run of the 3rd generation 9mm automatics and made up of swaped out parts from different models.

Any extra info on this model wil be greatly appreciated,

Don't know how much info we can give you. Maybe we should be asking you.:)

Like you mention, the 6590, 6591, and 6592 were made for RSR in 1990. They were built on 3rd gen frames but used up some of the 2nd gen parts S&W had left over so they varied quite a bit.
I don't recall seeing a 6591 but I have seen 6590's with the ambi lever held on by a screw and a dovetailed front sight and 6592's with a separate barrel bushing (2nd gen) and 3rd gen ambi lever.

I haven't seen a 6591 yet and even though the 6590 is the more common of any of them, I have seen more 6592's (the rarest of the full sized 9mm RSR's)
