Does anyone know how many of these were produced by the PC ? I have heard it was only two hundred but cannot confirm that information.
Also does anyone know which stocks were shipped with these revolvers ?

I had heard 300 - but that is anecdotal. I think the production run was made for Bangers.

There were two runs of them I think 300 each.

They were shipped with the red, white, and blue Hogue grips. The first run had the mounting screw for the grips on the butt. The secon run had the screw going thru the side of the grips.

rbert0005 - The OP is asking about 686-7 chambered in .38 Super. You picture appears to be a 627-4 PC in .38 Super which is what your info pertains to also.

Adios,

Pizza Bob

I have one. They were shipped with Ahrends Cocobolo grips, and black on black target sights. It came in a S&W lockable metal case. It was advertised as a limited run of 250
