I just did a trigger job on my 3914 and improved the DA and SA trigger pulls very significantly. From looking at the parts diagrams on Numrich for both guns it seems the same principles would apply. The biggest thing to improve the DA pull (and SA pull somewhat) is to replace the trigger return and hammer springs with the lowest weight ones available from Wolf for your gun. If the DA pull is gritty or rough you will need to look at all the parts involved and de-burr/polish them. For the SA pull the most important thing is the hammer hooks and sear. Unless you really, really know what you are doing you should not touch these except to possibly polish the engagement surfaces WITHOUT CHANGING THE ANGLES or height of the hammer hooks. Simply polishing them and applying some dry moly lube will work wonders. To get an SA trigger pull lower than 5 to 6 lb. you need to modify the sear and hammer hooks (if this is a duty gun you shouldn't go lower anyway). A gunsmith should do this.
After doing any trigger work you should do a safety test on the gun to make sure the hammer doesn't follow the slide and the trigger reset and disconnector work properly. Also when you live fire the gun for the first time only load two rounds in the magazine. Do this for at least 10 magazines without issues like doubling and you are probably good to go.
For ignition reliability with the reduced hammer spring avoid using the extra power firing pin spring sometimes included with the Wolf spring sets. Also if you reload your own ammo only use Federal primers as they are much softer than any other.
Hope this helps.
